Rancher Backup CRDs

Chainguard's redistribution of the Rancher Backup CRD Helm chart.

This chart installs the Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs) used by Rancher's backup-restore-operator to declaratively manage cluster backups and restores. It ships only CRDs -- no workloads or images -- and is typically installed before the rancher-backup chart.

Prerequisites

Authentication is required to access this chart. First, authenticate with Chainguard and configure your environment:

chainctl auth login
chainctl auth configure-docker --pull-token --save
helm registry login cgr.dev

Installation

helm install rancher-backup-crd oci://cgr.dev/ORGANIZATION/charts/rancher-backup-crd \
  --namespace cattle-resources-system \
  --create-namespace

About This Chart

This is a redistribution of the upstream Rancher backup-restore-operator CRD Helm chart. All upstream configuration options and documentation apply.

The chart installs the following CRD kinds (all in the resources.cattle.io API group):

• Backup
• Restore
• ResourceSet
